The combination of Katie Barr and Alex Barr demonstrating dressage and show-jumping at the highest level was bound to be a crowd puller but none of us anticipated that so many would come along for the evening. We estimated around 300 people came along for two inspirational demonstrations which gave us some insight into their approach to training a professional horse but also gave us tips and exercises that we could all try at home. Equally impressive and playing it’s part were the fantastic facilities now available at West Kype Farm.
