To reach the team Meghan competed against nearly thirty competitors from academies all over Scotland at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre. The initial course was a stiff 1.05m with only six going clear, to ensure the top four competed for the team, course builder George Blackie, set the jump-off at 1.15m to 1.20m. Meghan was placed second behind Sandy McLean with Heather Blackie from Hamilton in third, all going double clear. The fourth team place went to Fionualla Kerr. The competition takes place over two days with four teams representing Scotland over different competition heights, Meghan will compete over 1.10m.
