Cameron Rogan riding Margaret Ballantyne’s Landlord III qualified for Hickstead on Saturday in the Pony Winter JC Class at Morris Equestrian Centre. The competition takes place over three rounds starting at 1.15m and finishing at speed over big fences !!

Six combinations went double clear in the first two rounds with Cameron being the only representative from Scotland. With an efficient and clean third round he was the fastest of four to end on treble clears and took pole position to qualify.

This was a super result as Cameron has only recently taken on the ride from Meghan Ballantyne who had a very successful time with Landlord competing all over the country and also representing Scotland in the home internationals.

Both families are now looking forward to a road trip to the Hickstead final in the summer!
