On Wednesday the 27th July four teams from L&U PC travelled to Ingliston to compete in the Area 19 SJ qualifiers, they had all enjoyed coaching prior to the event with Andrew Wilson at West Kype Farm. It was an extremely busy day at Ingliston with 230 horses taking part in four levels of competition. L&U had two teams competing at the Junior level, one at the Novice level and one at Intermediate level. Competition was particularly fierce in both the Junior and Novice levels with over 20 teams from the Southern part of Scotland taking part in each section. All teams competed well and enjoyed a fabulous day in the sunshine with the Junior A team posting a great result of 3rd out of 20 teams. It was very close and they were only beaten on time. A special mention must go to Amelia Palmer of the Junior A team who was second in the individual competition out of 87 competitors. A fantastic result !
